Welcome OC: We welcome our friends from Oklahoma Christian this morning.  Megan Alderson and her husband visited with our high school parents and teens last night. We are also blessed to have President of OC John deStieguer and his wife Darla here today.  John will be preaching this morning.
Recipe Book Order for Guatemala:  The cookbooks are projected to be completed and mailed to us by early May. Each cookbook will cost $20.  If you are interested in purchasing a book please see the office and get your name on the list.
Teachers Needed: New quarter starts Sunday, April 7th and Wednesday, April 10th.  We need a few teachers to finish filling up our classes.  If you’re interested, please let Lori know ASAP.
News and Events
Welcome Dr. deSteiguerGood morning church family!  We are so glad that you are here.  This morning we welcome Dr. John deSteiguer, president of Oklahoma Christian.  John and his wife Darla have served in their current role at OC since 2012.  John loves students and young people and is excited to be here.  Best of all he volunteered to teach the teen class this morning.  
New Sunday Study: Next Sunday our adult Bible classes begin an eight week study on “The Lord’s Prayer”.  This material was written by Dr. Michael Martin at LCU and is an incredible study of the call of Jesus’ prayer in our life.  We encourage everyone to join us on Sunday mornings in our Bible classes.
20’s and 30’s: New Bible class on Sunday mornings at 9:30 upstairs above the auditorium.  Invite someone you know around town to this great gathering of young professionals and young families.
Summer Sports Camp: Summer Sports Camp is coming, mark those calendars for June 2-5th.  Look for signups to come!  
Fellowship Feast and Intern Welcome: Make sure you join us on April 14th, for fellowship feast. We will welcome our summer intern Megan Krehbiel and get to hear from her.  She will share her goals for the summer as well as a report from India.
Easter Series: Next week Jake begins a new three week series for Easter.  Invite your friends using a flyer on the foyer table, and come be a part of the journey that changed the world.  3 PM Friday to Sunday morning Daylight.  
Abraham Home Devo: Today at 2:00 pm.  Devo led by Larry Smith.  Come serve and love on some great people at the Abraham Home.
  LTC Practices:  LTC teams practice –Sunday @ 2:45pm –3rd-8th grade Drama practice –Chorus practice-Sunday @ 7pm—Bible Bowl /Quiz:  Monday @ 7:00pm- Sign Language-Monday 4-5pm & Wed. 6-7pm.  
LTC Celebration & Meeting- April 17th, all classes meet in the auditorium, to watch our LTC kids perform what they have learned these last few months. This year’s theme is the gospel of John, and many other events.  Come enjoy, come learn, come celebrate our kids as they use their gifts and talents to glorify God.  There will be a meeting afterwards about the LTC convention weekend.  We will discuss departure times, event times, itinerary, and other things you need to know. Please stay after class for this meeting on April 17th.

End of Me: We are out of End of Me books but if you would like one you can get a good price on one on Amazon or Christian Book Distributors (  Join us Wednesdays for a great study.

Men’s Brinner: Don’t miss one, of the last two, Men’s gatherings of the Spring, April 8th at 6:30 pm. Great food, even better fellowship.
Youth Ministry
Church Cookbooks- The moment you have waited decades for is finally here. After countless hours spent by a wonderful team of people, incredible- wonderful- people. The finished proof is heading for duplication. The cookbooks are projected to be completed and mailed to us by early May. Each cookbook will cost $20 and every bit of the proceeds will go to help the fundraising for the Guatemala mission team.  If you are interested in purchasing a book please see the office and get your name on the list. Please make checks payable to the Canadian Church of Christ.
For King and Country- April 14th at the Civic Center in Amarillo. We still have a few tickets not accounted for if you would like to go. They are $28. The van will leave at 2:45 that Sunday and then return after the concert. If you have reserved a ticket please pay Barry or the office. Thank you!

Cynergy in Amarillo –May 11th- For teens and parents $40 van leaves at 1pm.
